Frequently asked questions

Is it complicated to install?

No. The robot is ready to use and requires no special setup.

What if the field already has an irrigation system?

The robot delivers both water and financial savings. It optimizes sprinkler timings, ensures uniform irrigation, and waters only where needed.

Can it be used on different fields?

Yes. The robot adapts to football, rugby, and municipal lawns.

Can the robot replace a water cannon?

Yes. The robot can fully replace a cannon. It measures soil water needs and irrigates accordingly. It’s much more cost-effective than a cannon since no labor is needed to move it, evaporation is reduced, and irrigation is optimized.

Is the robot relevant for synthetic fields?

Yes, for economic reasons. Installing integrated irrigation on synthetic fields is common to cool the surface before matches. The robot costs far less and fulfills the same purpose.

Does it reduce labor costs for top-level fields?

Yes. Monitoring irrigation on elite fields is critical, especially during droughts with daily variations. This usually requires staff on site 7 days a week. The autonomous robot measures soil moisture several times a day if needed and irrigates accordingly, reducing labor costs.

Does it need Wi-Fi on site?

No. The robot has its own 4G chip to send field data and receive orders.

What happens in case of rain?

The robot has access to weather data and receives forecasts in advance. It also has a rain sensor as backup. If needed, it automatically stops irrigation.
