Every day, the measurements taken by the robot allow the BotsWeLove cloud platform to track changes in soil moisture across the entire field. Based on soil characteristics, the performance of the existing irrigation system, and weather conditions, the solution automatically determines when, where, and how much to irrigate.
Measure
The robot takes approximately 300 soil-moisture measurements across the entire field.
Analyze
The cloud analyzes changes in soil moisture and keeps the field within its optimal moisture range, between the water-stress threshold and field capacity.
Control
The solution determines the required irrigation durations and automatically controls the existing sprinkler zones..
Supplement
The robot locally corrects irrigation non-uniformity caused by sprinkler layout, wind, shade, drainage, or soil characteristics.
